Friday 25th January: Italian evening with some goodies to taste. Biosciences Cafe, Biosciences building, Cardiff University.

Sunday 27th January: Bible study restarts, 4 pm, 10 Senghennydd road.

Friday 1 December: French evening at Open House.

This week in Open house, we will Learn welsh. One friend has kindly accepted to come to give us a Welsh lesson. So, come along to get a taste of this Language. Open House, Biosciences Cafe, Cardiff University, Friday 9th November, start 7.30 pm. Bring some friends along.

Also this week, there is a student Lunch in the Heath Evangelical church on Sunday 11th November. If you want to join us for the service, it starts at 10.45. Otherwise, the Lunch will start at 12.30. It is open to all students, so come along. It is a good place to meet some new people, especially some British Families. For directions, check website, or contact me for details.

Also, some people are going to the cinema this Saturday to watch the Film Elisabeth. Meet at Jager’s house at 7.45 pm. The film starts at 8.30 in the Odeon in the city center. For directions to Jager’s house, contact me.

On 13th October, 17 of us wen to the Wye Valley for a Walk. The weather was dry, the colours amazing. We started off at Tintern Abbey, went up the Devil’s Pulpit (amazing view on the Abbey), walked part of Offa’s Dyke (a Wall that was built long ago to keep the Welsh out of England, a small great wall of China). Our Pastor guided us, and talked on Offa’s dyke. He also briefly explained the Gospel message from the natural Pulpit. Over the Valley.

Well, we had a good evening. There were a good number of Students from different origins: China, Taiwan, Burma, Peru. Everyone mingled, and we had to push everybody out in order to close the cafe for 10.30. Great night.

Some of you will probably have the opportunity to visit a British home. You may be wondering what to expect. Well, come this Friday to Open House to know a bit more about British Culture. We meet in the Biosciences Cafe, Biosciences Building, Off Park Place. Start at 7.30 pm
